The ESA to host the Subbuteo FISTF World Cup in 2024

The English Subbuteo Association is delighted to announce that we will be hosting the Subbuteo World Cup 2024 in Tunbridge Wells, Kent. This is fantastic news for our game during the 75th anniversay of when the game was first invented by Peter Adolph.

The ESA and University Games announce new strategic affiliation

The English Subbuteo Association is pleased to announce a new strategic affiliation with games and puzzles specialist University Games. The English Subbuteo Association has already achieved record registrations this year with a significant amount of interest showing in the game of Subbuteo during lockdown. The affiliation with University Games formulates the foundation for supporting the continued growth within the voluntary and commercial world of both organisations.

Simon Goodman appointed General Secretary of the ESA

The ESA are pleased to announce the appointment of Simon Goodman as General Secretary. Simon has a wealth of knowledge, experience and passion for the game and is someone who adds a new dimension to our voluntary organisation.

Mike Parnaby joins the ESA board

The ESA are delighted to announce that Mike Parnaby has rejoined the board as a Consultant. Mike started his interest in the game at the ripe old age of 13 in 1976. In 1978 Mike formed Stokesley SC '78, and this club has continued since but under different names, currently NETFA Brigantes.
