Hi Everyone,
My name’s Carl and I’m a musician and huge Subbuteo fan, as well as general fan of everything to do with football in the 90s. My favourite Subbuteo accessories as a kid (I’m 40 now) were the #61213 goal nets and the 90s pylon floodlights - what a namazing sunset photo of the Munich Olympiastadion on that box!
I’m just posting because by kind approval from Jon Hare, creator of the legendary Amiga games SENSIBLE SOCCER and the Sensible World of Soccer sequels, I’ve recreated the menu music from each game - with all proceeds going to Campaign Against Living Miserably.
It’s available to listen to for free on my Sensi Musik youtube playlist here:
https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLCuKbaDCPJEN8CXc_3C5Mb0mTDypcf8Of Very nostalgic I hope, and something 90s to listen to whilst playing a few games of Subbuteo.
I’ve released this music in aid of Campaign Against Living Miserably, a mental health and suicide prevention charity due to its strong links to football and the huge help it gives guys of all ages. If you want to buy a copy of this music, it’s available to buy on Bandcamp (link below), with all proceeds going to Campaign Against Living Miserably. Their website is thecalmzone.net
SENSI MUSIK is available here:
If anyone in the Subbuteo community is able to share this on social media, I’d really appreciate it. Hopefully we can raise a bit of money too.
I’m also on Twitter @DnmScreenSound and Bluesky @dnmscreensound.bsky.social
Thanks for reading/listening.
Happy Subbuteo-ing,
Carl
