24 players were in attendance for night two of the new Bristol Subbuteo Club league.
In the Premiership it was 3 wins from 3 games for Mick Hammonds, but it was not only Mick who remained unbeaten on the night, as current league champion Aaron Skinner played 1 and won 1 game. David Lauder had an excellent night playing 3 and finishing with 2 wins and a draw from his night. Malcolm Jamieson making his Bristol debut got his first win along with Dave Samuel who also got 2 wins, the big loser of the night was Simon Bodily who lost all 3 of his opening games and is firmly routed to the bottom of the Premiership.
Having an impressive evening in the Championship was Bob Fairbrother who had 1 win, 2 draws and a loss. One of Bob’s draws came against Rich Roper who also got a good win. There were also wins for Chris Burford and Rob Jones, but the Championship was mainly a night of draws with 7 of the 11 games finishing all square, making this league a very tight battle for all places.
League One saw a mix of results for all players, Taylor Randles and Pete Marshall both winning 1 and losing 1 game. Dennis Perry made a solid start to his evening, winning 1 and drawing 2 games before back trouble saw the end of his nights action. Other winners on the night were Gareth Hughes and debutant Kyle Jamieson.
League Tables to follow soon.
